Building a Mix with Characters
Pyramix Sound Composer centers on a single action: placing characters into a mix. Each character carries one specific sound. Add a character and that sound enters the composition. Swap a character and the audio changes immediately. There are no hidden menus or advanced settings to learn; the mix is shaped entirely by which characters are present at any moment. That simplicity is the point. The game asks you to listen, react, and adjust rather than study a manual.
Real-Time Experimentation
Because swapping happens in real time, the game encourages trial and error as the main creative method. You are not committing to a final track before hearing it. You can add a layer, dislike the result, and replace it without stopping playback. Over time, this loop teaches you how each character's sound interacts with the others. The interface supports mouse or touch selection, so the same approach works whether you are on a desktop or a mobile device.
Visual Feedback and Rhythm
Every character also drives a visual animation tied to its sound. These animations give you a second way to read the mix: even before you consciously identify a sound, the screen shows that something has changed. A rhythm indicator helps you keep layers in sync, which matters when you are stacking multiple characters and want the result to feel cohesive rather than cluttered.
Alternate Theme Mode
The game includes a separate mode that shifts both the audio and visual palette toward a darker, more mysterious tone. The core mechanic does not change; you still add and swap characters to build a mix. What changes is the mood of the sounds and the look of the animations. This gives you a second creative direction to work in without learning a new system.
Unlockable Characters and Access
Additional characters can be unlocked through special codes that players find or share. These expand the range of available sounds and open up more layering options. The game runs entirely in a web browser with no download and no account creation, and it is designed to work across various devices. The single-player focus means you can work at your own pace without waiting on anyone else.
